As part of a last ditch effort for donations, the St. Thomas Professional Firefighters, St. Thomas Stars Hockey and Elgin Chrysler are teaming up for a canned food drive for Christmas Care.
Fire Prevention Officer Kim Destun says the fun will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Destun explains where in the city they’ll be.
Residents are welcome to leave non-perishable food items or new toys on their porches, curbside or bring them out to us as they pass by or drop them off at either of the St. Thomas fire halls. (305 Wellington or 235 Burwell Rd.)
