With in-class learning for elementary students pushed back until Jan. 25, local parents, students and educators will have to continue to adjust to at home learning.
For St. Thomas parent Jessica, she says the uncertainty around schooling and the continuation of online learning is stressful on her three young children.
She says students are struggling with spending their day in front of a computer.
She adds the process of schooling her children while continuing in her career path is a balancing and juggling act.
Jessica says that despite the struggles and adapting that have occurred, she understands the reasoning behind the delay of returning to in class learning.
Based on feedback from the community many local parents are feeling similarly, with some citing lack of devices/internet access and the inability to stay home with students/lack of childcare as other big struggles they are facing with the provincial announcement.
