As announced yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) by education minister Stephen Lecce, students in the Southwestern Public Health and Middlesex-London Health Unit regions will not be returning to in-class learning on Monday. Students in seven regions of the province will be returning to class at that time.
With TVDSB students not returning to the classroom Monday as originally scheduled, the key question for parents is when will they return?
According to an email sent to parents and guardians yesterday, Thames Valley schools will remain closed to students until at least Feb. 10. The school board says that date is based on information received from the Ministry of Education. An update from the ministry is expected as we approach that date.
Students with complex special needs currently attending in-school instruction are not impacted by this announcement.
