The Aylmer Police Service are investigating 3 separate reports of vandalism at the Church of God in Aylmer.
Police say the first incident occurred in the overnight hours on January 15th when a sign on the property was damaged.
On January 18th, police received a report that damage was sustained to 2 signs situated at the front entrance of the church, where culprits spray-painted the word “CULT” on each of them.
At approximately 2 a.m. on January 20th, the 3rd incident occurred when unknown persons damaged the sign in front of the church.
At this time police are reviewing the evidence obtained.
Aylmer Police have also provided advice to the Church in terms of target hardening the location and positioning of video surveillance in order to gain further evidence.
