After the provincial shutdown ends, what’s next?

With the expectation Premier Doug Ford could soon make an announcement on when the economy will start reopening after a 28-day province-wide shutdown, where will that leave the Southwestern Public Health region?

Medical officer of health Dr. Lock says 10 days ago the area’s COVID-19 numbers still had us in the province’s Red-Control Zone.

But since then the numbers have dropped substantially.

Lifting the shutdown was discussed yesterday at the Legislature and an announcement could come as early as Monday.
