Ontario residents aged 80 and over can expect to start receiving their COVID-19 shots in the third week of March. The head of the province’s vaccine rollout says the actual schedule will depend on supplies.
Retired General Rick Hillier, announced the timeline today.
An online booking system and service desk will open March 15th. The aim is to then start vaccinating adults aged 75 and older on April 15th, those 70 and older on May 1st and decreasing in five-year age increments until 60-year-olds get the shot in July.
Hillier, did not provide details on when residents younger than 60 could expect a vaccine.
