Following an investigation by both the St. Thomas Police Service Street Crimes and Criminal Investigations Units, a 30 year old resident has been arrested and a quantity of drugs and firearms have been seized.
On Thursday, March 17th the STPS executed a search warrant in an apartment located at 32 Princess Avenue, which police say has been active in both the drug subculture and stolen property.
While searching the residence Police seized a quantity of Morphine and Hydromorphone with a street value of roughly $2550, as well as recovered a .22 caliber rifle, ammunition, a crossbow, and 2 imitation firearms.
Police further located a number of tools reported stolen earlier this year during a residential break and enter.
