The theft of copper wire from the compound that surrounds the HMCS OJIBWA Submarine in Port Burwell has Elgin County OPP investigating.
Police say that chain link fence of the compound was cut open on the northeast side, where 75-80′ of copper wire, valued at $150-$200 was taken.
The theft of the wire occurred between March 15th and March 23rd.
