As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and current challenges presented to the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, the Office of Karen Vecchio will further assist with the program.
Vecchio’s team will be providing screening sheets outside of the CASO Station and drop off hours for completed screening sheets and support documentation.
The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program is available for modest income individuals who have a simple tax situation. Constituents must complete the drop off form and bring all personal tax documentation including all T-Slips, rent receipts or property tax receipt and other expense they wish to file.
Individuals are able to print and complete the drop off form beforehand from the website at www.cvitp.ca or pick up the tax program screening sheet/ checklist with all instructions, on the boardwalk at the CASO Station between 10:00 a.m.and 4:30p.m. Monday to Friday.
Constituents will be able to drop off their completed screening sheet on Mondays and Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (April 12/13 and April 19/20) on the boardwalk of the CASO Station.
All completed screening sheets will placed in a secure drop off box that will be monitored by staff.
