The Aylmer Police Service has confirmed that 2 of the attendees of the large gathering at the Church of God on Tuesday were in fact Toronto Police officers.
myFM spoke with Aylmer Police Chief Zvonko Horvat who confirmed that the 42 year old male from North York and the 41 year old female from Scarborough were off duty officers.
Zvonko added that the investigation is still ongoing and further charges are expected.
In a video posted to Facebook by independent MPP Randy Hillier, one of the Toronto officers can be heard asking Aylmer Police “how do you sleep at night,” following the charges laid under the Reopening Ontario Act.
