The Thames Valley District School Board is giving parents a little more time to make their decision on whether they’ll be sending their children to school this September or opting for full remote learning.
The deadline to submit a students learning model for next year has been pushed back to Tuesday, June 1st.
Students will be able to return to in person learning in September, however the option will be on the table for anyone who wishes to remain with the remote learning model.
“We are pleased to be able to provide parents more time to make this important decision,” said Education Director Mark Fisher. “While we believe that in-person learning best supports students, we also recognize that some families may want their child to learn remotely.”
