For the third week in a row, the Church of God in Aylmer held a large indoor service in defiance of the provincial shutdown order.
In their Monday morning release, Aylmer Police said that in anticipation of breaches of the current Emergency Orders, officers monitored the church service taking place on John St. North.
They report that “a large number of participants” attended the Church of God and entered the church for the service in violation of the current emergency orders.
Aylmer Police say charges against the organization and two directors who organized and actively participated in the service are pending.
