Shopper Drug Mart has announced that rapid result COVID-19 testing for asymptomatic individuals is now available across the province, including all St. Thomas locations.
The rapid antigen tests are available at all Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaw pharmacies in Ontario and Alberta, with results typically available within 15-20 minutes.
Asymptomatic testing is limited to those who are not exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms and those who have not been in contact with someone who is positive for COVID-19.
Tests are priced at $40 each, and will be processed immediately in the pharmacy, with a record of the test and results provided to the customer after their visit.
Customers are encouraged to call their local store directly to book an appointment for screening.
