A downed hydro line is the suspected cause of a large brush fire that occurred on Colonel Talbot Road early Thursday morning.
The London Fire Department, who were originally dispatched around 1 a.m., called in the Southwold Fire Department once it was established that the fire was outside of their coverage area.
After providing initial suppression, London fire crews were called off, with both Southwold Fire Stations- Talbotville and Shedden attending the blaze.
The fire was safely extinguished and no injuries have been reported.
