Experience Rush Creek Wines in Aylmer, the 94.1 myFM Eatery of the week.
Rush Creek Wines is Elgin County’s award winning winery, nestled just 2 miles from the shores of Lake Erie.
Established back in the early 1990s as a use for the extra fruit harvested from the farm, Rush Creek Wines is a unique one of a kind winery operation that features over 23 different wines made from a host of unique fruit grown in the region.
Owner Ron Barr says when wine lovers first hear about the fruit flavours, they aren’t always sold on the idea right away.
He says the wines, partnered with the welcoming atmosphere of Rush Creek is the perfect reason to come out for a visit.
Although the wine portion of a visit is reserved for those of legal drinking age, Barr says that Rush Creek Wines has something for people young and old.
Barr explains that he currently has one of Ontario’s largest selection of vintage collectibles and memorabilia on display at Rush Creek Wines.
Those hoping to get a taste of the unique flavours Rush Creek Wines has to offer, but aren’t ready to make a trip out to Aylmer are able to order wines right to their door.
Rush Creek Wines is still offering tours of their facility, with reservation available via phone and through their website.
