In recognition of National Indigenous History Month, 94.1 myFM is joining broadcasters across the country to amplify Indigenous voices in Canada.
It’s “A Day to Listen” in partnership with the Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Fund.
Vice-President of Content Development, Rob Mise, says it’s meant to use the power of radio to enact real change.
Mise says this event will hopefully be the beginning on a new chapter.
He adds he hopes this sets a course for a better future.
You’ll be able to hear stories from leaders, residential school survivors, elders and teachers tomorrow on 94.1 myFM from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
You can hear a preview of the day below…
