A two-vehicle collision Saturday morning in Southwold has claimed the life of a motorcyclist.
Just before 11 a.m., Elgin OPP, Southwold firefighters and EMS responded to a a collision involving a motorcycle and van at the intersection of John Wise and Bush lines.
The operator of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries where they were pronounced dead.
The motorcyclist has been identified as 71-year-old Gerald D. Grant of Blenheim. The driver of the van did not suffer any injuries
Elgin OPP advise the investigation is continuing.
