The latest housing numbers are in from the London and St. Thomas Association of Realtors, who once again set a record for residential sales last month.
LSTAR reports that 1,194 homes exchanged hands in the region, marking their best results ever for June, since data tracking began back in 1978.
LSTAR President Jack Lane notes “We’re encouraged by year-to-date sales, which are performing ahead of 2020. At the end of June, there have been 6,378 sales, up 49.4% over the same period last year.”
In St. Thomas, the average sale price for a home in June 2021 was $531,230, and $651,072 in Elgin County.
In May, the average sale price for a home in St. Thomas was was $547,777 and $646,427 in Elgin County.
