Civic Holiday Monday will mean a variety of hours for businesses in St. Thomas and Elgin county.
The holiday will see government offices, banks, post offices all closed on Monday.
Outside of those services, things like grocery stores will be open including Briwood Market, with The Beer Store and the LCBO outlet open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Lynhurst Variety open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
M&M Meats is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Shoppers Drug Mart 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sparta Country Candles 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Talbotville Berry Farm from noon to 4 p.m.
And Simply Scoops in Port Burwell will be open from 11 a.m. with fireworks on the pier at dusk.
While most places will be open, it’s still a good idea to call ahead to check on hours.
