The theft of a $3 pair of sunglasses did not end well for a 35 year old female.
Loss Prevention at Unusual Finds in the west end of the city observed the theft and contacted St. Thomas Police who located the woman, identified as Danielle Sheehan, who was arrested without incident.
Police report that Sheehan proceeded to give officers a false name, as she was wanted in 2 other jurisdictions.
Police were also able to locate stolen property from 3 other victims on her, as well as a flick knife.
As a result, she was charged with Theft under $5,000, Obstruct Police, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of property obtained by crime x3 and was later turned over to London Police on their warrant.
