With Labour Day coming up, here’s what’s open and what’s closed in St. Thomas and Elgin County on Monday.
All municipal buildings, offices, as well as banks in both St. Thomas and Elgin County will be closed for the day.
Grocery stores including Walmart, the Real Canadian Superstore, Foodland, FreshCo, Food Basics, and Metro will be closed.
Briwood Farm Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, with M&M Food Market operating from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Shoppers Drug mart at 410 Talbot Street open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Beer Store and LCBO in St. Thomas will be closed on Labour Day, however Lynhurst Esso & Variety will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m, including for the purchase of alcohol.
