Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas – Elgin’s Big Ball Drop returns this Saturday at Pleasant Valley Trout Farm.
The drop will be taking place at 2 p.m. and will see numbered golf balls dropped from a crane onto a makeshift green. The ball that lands into or closest to the hole will win $2,000. Everyone who purchases a ball will also be entered into a draw to win a $1,500 Visa Card.
Executive Director Barb Matthews says that funds raised will help support their mentoring programs, as a number of children wait to be matched in our community.
