After four months, the locks are coming off the doors at the Church of God in Aylmer.
In St. Thomas court Wednesday morning, Justice Bruce Thomas allowed the doors to be opened again with the stipulation a COVID-19 safety plan must be in place and posted on all doors and face masks must be worn indoors with capacity limits to ensure social distancing.
Services have been held outdoors over the summer after the doors were ordered locked on May 14.
In addition, the church and its leaders were assessed close to $200,000 in fines when large indoor services continued to be held in spite of provincial COVID-19 restrictions.
