With summer now in the rearview, the city of St. Thomas is preparing to finish up one of its major construction project of the season- Fairview Avenue.
Patrick Anckaert, Manager of Capital Works for the City says only a few key details need to be wrapped up.
Phase 1 of the project has been complete for sometime, with Anckaert saying that they have already received some positive feedback.
Those roundabouts will be getting a little bit of a makeover, with artwork set to be installed next week.
As we prepare for the final weeks of the project, Anckaert notes that minimal disruptions are expected.
The project, which began in March is excepted to wrap up by mid to late October, with Anckaert hoping for the week of the 18th.
