The St. Thomas Police are seeking the public’s assistance following a dog bite incident that took place in the city last night. Police report that the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the area of South Edgeware Road and Balaclava Street.
The dog in question is described as a mixed breed, resembling a golden retriever. The dog’s handler is said to be approximately 60 years old with a beard and was wearing a black leather jacket at the time.
Officers are looking to speak with the owner of the dog to determine if the dog has received proper vaccinations.
