For the fourth consecutive day, Southwestern Public Health reported at least one COVID-19 related death.
There were two new deaths recorded Tuesday, a female in her 50s and a man in his 60s, both Elgin residents.
That brings the death toll to 103 since the pandemic began.
It marks six deaths in the past week, all of them residents of Elgin County.
Since the beginning of November, there have been 11 COVID-related deaths in the Southwestern Public Health region.
On this date last year, only eight deaths had so far been recorded.
