Elgin OPP are investigating the theft of a tractor and two trailers from Tapsell Trucking on Talbot Line in Central Elgin.
The two trailers contained over $200,000 worth of brass.
The vehicles were taken some time between 3 p.m. Dec. 18 and 9 a.m. Dec. 19.
Here is a description of the tractor and trailers:
- A maroon 2009 Volvo tractor trailer with Ontario plates 6448PV and marked “Tapsell Trucking” on the side of the truck,
- A silver 2008 Reitnouer Max trailer with Ontario plates B7991R, with red side racks and covered by a black tarp,
- A silver 2002 Reitnouer Max trailer with Ontario plates E6384C, with red side racks and covered by a black tarp.
