Ontario parents will have a little more information about the state of the province’s classrooms today.
The government is set to start posting absenteeism data from schools online.
It will show how many schools across the province are closed, and at a school-level, the percentage of staff and students who are absent.
The government is doing this instead of sharing data about how many students and school staff were diagnosed with COVID-19, as it used to.
