Don’t be surprised by the presence of military vehicles on area roads this weekend.
Canadian Army Reserve personnel from 31 Service Battalion – London Support Company will be conducting convoy training in the London and St. Thomas area.
Activities include convoy and navigation drills on planned routes. You can expect to see the vehicles on Highbury Ave, Wellington Rd. and Hwy. 401.
Participants will remain within vehicles, except for any required maintenance, and will carry no weapons or ammunition.
All of them will be following public health guidelines, including wearing masks, extra sanitizing of equipment and hands, and physical distancing where possible.
