A traffic stop in the city Wednesday resulted in the seizure of roughly $19,000 worth of cocaine.
The St. Thomas Police Street Crimes Unit conducted the stop, where a 36 year old man was arrested after 4.5 ounces of cocaine was located inside the vehicle.
A search warrant was then conducted at his St. Thomas residence where drug packaging materials and scales were located.
As a result, the male has been charged with Possession of a controlled drug for the purpose of trafficking and was released with a future court date.
