Although the forecasted snow this week might have you thinking twice, spring yard waste collection is set to begin across Central Elgin.
The municipality notes that pick up in built up areas of Central Elgin will begin on April 25th and continue most Mondays throughout May.
They add, for residents not in built up areas of Central Elgin, bags can be dropped off at the to St. Thomas Community Recycling Centre.
The municipality asks that all bags be on the curb for collection by 7 a.m. and advise that no bag tag is required.
They also remind residents that limbs and branches must be bundled in lengths of 1 metre or less.
