A 36-year-old St. Thomas man is facing a variety of charges after assaulting and threatening to kill police officers.
Jeremy Porter was being removed from a holding cell for a court appearance when he allegedly struck a special constable.
While being escorted to Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre, he spat on and threatened to kill two other officers.
He is now charged with two counts of assaulting a peace officer, uttering death threats and three counts of breach of probation.
