The Aylmer Police are continuing to investigate after a woman who took a car for a test drive from a local dealership, failed to return.
On April 28th around 3:30 p.m., police attended Goodwill’s Used Cars where it was revealed that a female in her 30’s came to the dealership and requested to test drive a 2019 GMC Canyon pick up.
The salesperson obtained the appropriate information from the female and allowed her to take the truck for a test drive.
The female never returned, with further investigation revealing that she used stolen identification taken from a resident in St. Thomas.
The women is described as approximately 5’6″, 150 lbs, with dirty blonde hair in a top knot wearing large sunglasses, blue jeans, and carrying a back pack.
Anyone with information is asked to call Aylmer Police or Crime Stoppers.
