A disturbance on Talbot Street Wednesday afternoon resulted in the arrest of 2 individuals and the seizure of roughly $8000 worth of illicit drugs.
Forty two year old Jeremy Pickering of no fixed address and forty three year old Melissa Boersma of St. Thomas were taken into custody after police discovered the two were currently at large in the community and released on conditions not to communicate or associate with each other.
During processing officers seized approximately $8000 worth of illicit drugs, resulting in more charges.
Boersma has been charged with one count Breach of Release Conditions and one count Drug Possession, while Pickering faces two counts Breach of Release Conditions and four counts of Drug Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Both were held in custody for a court appearance.
