Bible Baptist Church in St. Thomas will be putting a spin on their community car wash initiative this Saturday and they need your help to make it successful!
The free car wash taking place at Geerlinks Home Hardware from 10 a.m. to noon, will actually act as a fundraiser for the Grace Cafe.
Levi Tyrrell, Assistant Pastor at Bible Baptist Church explains how they’ve switched up operations this time around to support an organization that supports so many of our own.
And because they aren’t asking for payment from the community, Tyrrell says that Bible Baptist Church will donate $10 for every car that comes through!
He adds that Grace Cafe is the perfect recipient of the funds.
Tyrrell notes that while donations will be accepted during the car wash, they just wanted to get back out into the community and make a difference!
He adds that a big thank you goes out Geerlinks Home Hardware, who are not only supplying the parking lot space for the car wash, but also the water free of charge.
