It’s the prefect concept – bring the community together for a day full of live music, food and fun all in support of local charities. And next Saturday, Summerfest makes its return to St. Thomas, this year backing The Grace Cafe, The Inn and St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation.
Joe Fleming with Summerfest explains how the idea for the widely popular event came about 15 years ago.
For Summerfest 2022, Fleming says attendees can expect a great line up of music, prizes, a silent auction, food courtesy of Ollee’s Bar and Eatery, and more.
New this year notes Fleming is the addition of an online 50/50 raffle, which will be drawn following the event on June 25th.
He adds that the success of the event wouldn’t be possible without the support of local businesses.
Summerfest 2022 goes from 3 to 9 p.m. at the St. Anne’s Centre on June 25th. Advance tickets are $30 each and can be reserved by phone through the Columbus Club of St. Thomas at 519-631-2166.
