The Railway City or the Mural City?
You may not be able to tell the difference after this Saturdays Track to the Future Mural Festival featuring immersive and interactive art, pop-up events, local food, free live music and so much more.
It’s a celebration of the Track to the Future Mural project undertaken by Railway City Tourism, notes Tourism Manager Megan Pickersgill.
With at least nine new murals set to take shape in the city on Saturday, Pickersgill notes that St. Thomas may soon be recognized for something other than the railway.
Running from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., she says there’s so much planned for art and culture lovers alike!
Live music will help set the scene at a number of location across the city, including the Downtown Central Street Concert.
With so much to do throughout the festival, Pickersgill says your best bet is to just show up and let the art do the rest.
Downloading the Goosechase app to your phone will also help you navigate the festival. Those that utilize the digital passport and complete missions to earn points, will also have the chance to win a number of prizes.
