A buck has turned into 100,000 of them for a St. Thomas grandmother.
Jane Wachowiak matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the April 27 ONTARIO 49 draw to win $100,000.
Jane, 59, says she has been playing the lottery since she was 18 years old.
She says she was having her morning coffee when she saw an email from OLG saying she had big news.
“I logged into my account and immediately started screaming and doing my happy dance,” she said. “My husband was right next to me laughing with happiness!”
She is planning some home renovations and travel. “I’d love to take a girls trip with my friend and a winter getaway for some fun in the sun,” she smiled.
“This is unbelievable. It feels like a dream,” she concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased on OLG.ca.
