Following the investigation into a historic sexual assault, a 54 year old Aylmer man has been charged.
On August 4th, Aylmer Police were notified about the incident that occurred sometime between January and February of 2021 when a 11 year old female was visiting a relative in the town.
During the sleep over, police say the male touched the female victim for a sexual purpose and as a result has been charged with both Sexual assault and Sexual interference.
