Following their huge ice cream fundraiser last Tuesday and their in store collection the remainder of the week, SubZero has announced the total raised in support of the Cheeseman family.
Noting an amazing and emotional show of support and appreciation from the community, SubZero says $6023.60 was collected in honour of Nicholas Cheeseman who tragically lost his life on July 28th.
Cheeseman, who was 34 and a four year member of the St. Thomas Fire Department, leaves behind a wife and 5 month old son.
A GoFundMe page set up by Nick’s brother has also surpassed its original goal, sitting just under $58,000.
