Four London men have been arrested and charged with multiple offences following an investigation into break, enter and thefts at auto dealerships, auto shops and other businesses last month in Elgin, Middlesex and Perth counties.
Members of the Elgin Middlesex Community Street Crime Unit and London Police executed warrants at three residences in London.
They recovered vehicle keys, tools, alcohol, clothing, and lottery tickets.
Charged are:
Branden Butchart, 27, of London
- Break and Enter with intent to commit an indictable offence
- Theft of a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (over $5000).
- Possession of break-in instruments.
Jack Lediet, 63, of London
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (over $5000).
Justin Lediet, 27, of London
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (over $5000)
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Resist Peace Officer
- Possession of break-in instruments
- Failure to comply with an undertaking
- Failure to comply with Probation Order
- Break and Enter with intent to commit an indictable offence
- Theft of a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance.
Kyle Sholdice, 28, of London
- Break and Enter
- Break and Enter with intent to commit an indictable offence
- Robbery
- Theft of a Motor Vehicle
- Failure to comply with an undertaking.
