A tree-trimming session branched out into a nasty incident Wednesday, resulting in charges against a 74-year-old St. Thomas man.
It is alleged he assaulted his neighbour with a saw following an argument over trimming a tree.
He was charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
