The latest housing numbers in from the London and St. Thomas Association of Realtors.
Last month, LTSAR saw 607 homes exchange hands across the region, falling 34.8% in August from the same month last year. But they saw an increase over the previous month, indicating a soft landing in the local real estate market.
In St. Thomas, the average sale price for a home in August 2022 was $582,851 and $731,641 in Central Elgin.
This is compared to July 2022, where the average sale price for a home in St. Thomas was $560,360 and $629,313 in Central Elgin.
