Thanks to a grant received through the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the YWCA St Thomas-Elgin will be able to maintain capacity to deliver their aquatic programs.
The $56,900 grant, which comes from the Community Building Fund – Operating stream, will help the YWCA continue to deliver swimming lessons and recreational swimming in Aylmer and area, which they have been doing for over 25 years.
With significant and ongoing impacts of COVID-19 on sport and recreation sectors, the support will help them work toward rebuilding back to pre-pandemic levels of aquatic service delivery to meet the community’s needs.
