One person is hospitalized with suspected life-threatening injuries following a multi-vehicle collision yesterday afternoon on Hwy. 401 west of Col. Talbot Road. Elgin County OPP, EMS & Southwold Fire responded to the crash.
The mishap around 2 p.m. involved two commercial vehicles and two passenger vehicles, with a total of six individuals. The eastbound lanes were closed into the evening. It has since reopened.
