Some standardized math test scores in the province are down, while others are stagnant at low rates. EQAO results were released yesterday for the first round of tests written by Grades 3, 6 and 9 students since prior to the pandemic.
They show 52 per cent of grade nine students met the provincial math standard, down from 75 per cent three years ago.
Forty-seven per cent of grade six students and 59 per cent of grade 3 students met the standard — both down slightly.
According to the EQAO website, local results will be published at a later date.
