A familiar face is back at the helm in Aylmer.
Jack Couckuyt defeated Tom Charlton and Ted McDonald in the race for Mayor. Couckuyt, who was defeated by Mary French in the 2018 Municipal Election, won the most votes in this year’s election. French did not seek reelection in 2022.
Pete Barbour has been elected Deputy Mayor of the Town, beating out Fred Buro and Isaak Neufeld.
