The union representing faculty members at Western University says it’s preparing for a strike action next week if it can’t reach a last-minute deal with the institution.
The University of Western Ontario Faculty Association that represents about 1,500 faculty members says it’s in a legal strike position starting on Sunday as negotiations continue on a new contract.
About 91 per cent of the union members voted in favour of strike action.
