A Rodney man disqualified from driving is now facing a variety of charges after being stopped Friday by Elgin OPP on Furnival Road.
When conducting the traffic stop, police found open alcohol in the vehicle. Among other offences, the 61-year-old man is charged with operation while prohibited, resisting a police officer and driving with open liquor.
His vehicle was impounded for 45 days and he will appear in St. Thomas court at a future date.
