What better way to immerse yourself in the spirit of the season than by strolling along candlelit paths in Springwater Forest.
The Christmas Spirit Walk is this Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. when you can wander through the Carolinian forest to the sound of seasonal music under the stars.
Hear the story of the Grinch and be entertained by a magician.
There’s hot chocolate and cookies and, of course, a visit from Santa.
Admission is $10 for adults (cash only). Children under 16 are free. A reminder no pets allowed.
Proceed through the day-use entrance off Conservation Line.
The walk is a partnership between the Elgin Hiking Trail Club and the Catfish Creek Conservation Authority.
